PHANTOM 3 ADVANCED

Looking East towards Fraser Island across Point Vernon

Gattakers Boat Ramp
Murray's Run taken from my brothers property near Laguna NSW
Looking back towards the house from out beyond the cliff and trees.

Well this is our new vehicle, 2006 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD LT

Our first trip away, Burning Mountain Rest Area

Space in the back fro the grandkids
Satellite dish, 3kv generator and solar panel are now located on this side on the shelf.
Fridge is located on the drop down slide, water tank under neath, ladder, awnings and equipment for the fox wing in the rear area and my tools in the draw under the fridge.
Replaced the 3500kg hitch with a 4500kg self aligning non lubricated hitch so no more grease to get on my clothes.

I couldn't buy replacement rubber NERF Bar inserts so I made my own from 2mm polished aluminium tread plate
Made my own rear boat loader but wasn't happy so I am still in the process of re engineering the replacement unit. With the exception of working out the front pivot and roller position the new one is almost complete. Winch and mainframe are installed so I can use it as a normal roof rack when I don't have the tinny on top.

The new boat loader, 44kg lighter and 125mm lower than the previous one.

Made my own mudflats, couldn't find any decent ones so made these based on the design of the original US ones 10mm rubber, 2mm tread plate.
