Australia Zoo

We went to Australia Zoo on the weekend with our family. It is our grandaughters 3rd birthday on Tuesday, our youngest son recently returned from 2 1/2 years in the UK with his girlfriend, our eldest son was joining the police force on Monday and our son in law was finishing his first year in the police service on Friday. An excellent weekend had by all, topped up by a day at the beach on Sunday.

Cressbrook Dam spillway access road 04092010

Had to go out and do an inspection so thought I would take the cruiser for a run.

The access road is cut into the hill on the other side of the spillway , the concrete walls are 10 metres high and the water level 2o metres below spillway leveldriving out

Stanthorpe, Sommerville Valley on Saturday morning. Helen was still comfortable in bed with the heater on.

Rangemoore Estate

Camping at Rangemoore Estate with friends who were caretaking the vineyard.







The dog (Percy) was suppose to be down guarding the goats but was more content letting the other old dog (Bella) do all the work. He did get up occassionaly and wander down the paddock.

Percy did enjoy chewing on his hare, must have been a snack he caught.

The cat was very friendly, it was missing the owner but enjoyed the pigglet (maybe it was the lambshanks cooking).
